Manila's floating rubbish dump

In an old post I showed you the situation of the Citarum river in Jakarta that is considered the most polluted in the world and 't's completely covered with garbage.
Unfortunately it seems that this is a situation quite common in South-Eastern Asia metropolis as you can see in these agencies pictures coming from Manila , Philippines, a city that now has 10 millions inhabitants. Its waterways are floating rubbish dumps and often people live directly above them on pile-dwellings.
