I've been far from the blog for almost a week beacuse I was in Santa Margherita and Portofino to work in the "Trofeo Pirelli - Coppa Carlo Negri", the famous regattas organized by Yacht Club Italiano and Pirelli that every year bring more than one hundred boats in the sea between Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure.
Sadly for all the week the wind was very low, but the show was guaranteed by the presence of many of the top sailors like the Alinghi crew on board Neville Crichton's "Alfa Romeo" or the crews of the eight hard-fighting GP42.
The overall winner of the Carlo Negri Cup has been Atalanta II of Carlo Puri Negri. El desafio has been the winner in the GP42 class.
