Bo Bartlett and his "water series"

Bo Bartlett is a great American contemporary painter. In my humble opinion one of the best. His paintings have a unique realist style with a deep metarealist mood. From 1999 to 2003 he dedicated his works mainly to the sea with his beutiful "Water series". These are just five examples I particularly love but one thing you should really do is a visit to his site if you still don't know this awesome artist. You'll be surprised by his works.     This is amazing because my first reaction about it was ohh man look at that big wave, and few seconds later I realized it was a painting, that's cool it's a perfect art.
