The Opening Ceremony has finally taken place, astonishing with its majesty the four billions (and more) people who saw it. It has been less water-related than I expected but this picture by Carlo Borlenghi with the bird's nest and the fireworks reflected in the artificial ponds surrounding the stadium, is for me the perfect excuse to speak about it and show you some images.
